General
Each
user should be assigned to a home folder, preferably created on
a network drive. If the home folders are created on the local drive
(C:) they will not be accessible from other computers.
Network installations
Always create home
folders on a network drive which is accessible from all computers.
Make sure that the drive is addressed by the same drive letter from all
computers in the network.
Non-network installations
A home folder can always be created on a network drive even
if UNICORN is not installed for network control. The computer only
needs to be connected and logged on to the local network.
