IVBM2018 will be held in Finlandia Hall, located in the Helsinki city center. The Meeting organizers have booked room quotas for the Meeting participants in hotels close to the Finlandia Hall, where it is very easy to get around by foot and public transportation.
The mentioned prices below apply only when reservation is done via the registration form . Availability can be guaranteed for early bookings before March 31, 2018. Delegates are free to make their own accommodation arrangements, but availability or the IVBM2018 prices cannot be guaranteed.
Early reservation of accommodation is recommended due to the high demand of hotel rooms in Helsinki!

The Scandic Park Helsinki hotel is the closest to the Finlandia Hall. The hotel has excellent connections to the Helsinki International Airport - the Finnair City Bus and the local traffic bus n:o 415 stops right in front of the hotel. Hostel Academica has been operating as a hostel since 1968. At Hostel Academica, you do not have to share the shower and toilet facilities with other visitors. All rooms are equipped with their own bathroom and a small kitchen with a refrigerator. As the hostel is supporting the environmental friendly accommodation option, please remember to take your own soap and other utensils with you. The room rate includes bedding, towel and morning sauna.

Eurohostel provides comfortable budget accommodation near Helsinki city centre. Eurohostel is next to the Katajanokka sea terminal area, just a short walk from the sights, shops and restaurants of downtown Helsinki. Eurohostel has a self-service kitchen on all accommodation floors. All floors have separate showers and washroom facilities for men and women (rooms do not have showers or bathrooms). The room rate includes bedding, towel and morning sauna.

Accommodation payment
A hotel deposit of one night must be paid in advance together with the registration fees. The hotel deposit will be deducted from the total cost of accommodation. The remaining hotel payment will be charged at the hotel upon check-out. Reservations without full deposit payment cannot be accepted. The hotel has the right to charge all booked nights in case of late cancellation or early departure.
If you are paying the fees against invoice, kindly note that your reservation is guaranteed only after we have received your payment. If you require accommodation before or after the actual Meeting days, please contact the local IVBM2018 secretariat at ivbm2018@confedent.fi

Cancellation of accommodation or changes in accommodation bookings (early departure or late arrival)
All cancellations must be made in writing to ivbm2018@confedent.fi. - Cancellations received prior to or on March 1, 2018 - Full refund (less EUR 50 administration fee). - Cancellations or partial cancellations received after March 1, 2018 - No refunds. 100 % payment to be made if fees are not already paid at the time of cancellation.
There will be no refund for no-shows. Denial of a visa application to Finland does not entitle participants to any refunds.
